All of our accredited social workers are members of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW).     No referral is needed. You can contact us directly to discuss your needs.

  • Can Novita’s social workers help with NDIS plans?

    Yes. Our social workers are specialists in NDIS processes and can help you understand your plan, prioritise goals and access funded supports.

  • Do you offer counselling?

    Yes. Our social workers provide emotional support and counselling for individuals and families to help with stress, grief, loss and adjustment.

  • Where can I get support from a social worker?

    Wherever suits you best. That could be at a Novita site, in your home, community or school, or by phone. 

  • What is Service Coordination?

    Service coordination supports families to understand and connect with the complex array of regular and specialist services and resources that are available in the community. It consists of Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination. 

  • What’s the difference between Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination?

    Support Coordination helps families to navigate NDIS system and process, coordination of services, plan implementation to maximise use NDIS funded and linking with mainstream services  connect to and manage services. Specialist Support Coordination is a higher level of service for people with complex needs or risks,multile systems, focusing on reducing barriers and coordinating multiple supports.
