What is Aquatic Therapy at Novita?

Aquatic therapy, also known as hydrotherapy treatment or water-based rehabilitation, uses the unique properties of water to support movement, reduce strain on the body and provide a motivating environment for skill development.

Sessions are available as one on one sessions or paired formats across metropolitan and regional South Australia.

We begin with a pre-assessment to understand your goals and design a program tailored to your needs. Therapy is delivered in structured blocks to ensure consistency and measurable progress, with reviews at the end of each block to plan your next steps.

  • Support regulation while working on developmental goals

How we support you to overcome these challenges

Our therapists create a supportive environment tailored to your goals. Using the properties of water, we support you to explore movement safely, practice new skills, and improve confidence.
