Our community group programs have three levels of support that match your needs. Each level of support is related to a pricing level for the relevant program.
These hourly support levels reflect the changes that happen in a group. We will always provide a higher level of support when required and there are times when your ratio of support is less.
for people who mainly need one-to-one support.
for people who mainly have shared support with one other person.
for people who mainly have a mixture of shared support with one or two other people.
All price levels include capital centre costs and non face-to-face time.

Some of the support that we provide to our clients includes activities that don’t happen face-to-face. This can include planning and preparing activities, discussions with family members and other important people in your life, updating important documents and assessments.
Each of the three price levels of support includes a component of non-face-to-face time that is essential for safe, quality services for all our clients.
If additional non-face-to-face time is required, we will discuss this with you in advance.
Our support workers can also meet you in the most convenient location.
We may charge for the support worker to travel to you. This up to a maximum of 30 minutes each way per appointment in metropolitan areas and 60 minutes each way in regional areas.
Flat rates or travel ‘by quote’ may be negotiated, depending on circumstances.
Travel costs also include non-staff costs, to cover things such as petrol and vehicles. This is charged per kilometer at $1.10 in a metro area and $1.20 in a regional area.
When our support workers transport you to and from your community programs the following charges will apply, in addition to your support worker’s time, at a maximum of:
Transport is an important part of our community programs, ensuring that our clients can work towards their goals in the community. The cost of transport includes both staff and non-staff costs, for example the cost of vehicles.
This is charged at a flat rate of $6.60 per day for clients attending community group programs that have Novita vehicles. You will see this on your invoice as “activity based transport.”
Please note that this does not include our Recreation program.
Your client contribution fee covers the costs of activities and materials within your community program. This is charged at $9.00 per day. Please note that this is not applicable for the Transition to Work program.
An establishment fee of $702.30 may be charged when you first access community-based programs. This is only charged once and contributes towards the cost of the development of your Support Plan and care documentation.
If you have questions about our services and pricing or you want to know more about how you can use your NDIS funding, please contact our Customer Experience team.
Here are some common questions to help you understand how our pricing and support levels work in our Community Programs.
Your support level is based on how much assistance you typically require in a group setting, and our team will work with you to determine the level that best fits your needs.
Yes. Each pricing level includes a standard amount of non-face-to-face time, and we’ll always discuss it with you if additional time is required.
Absolutely. If you don’t have the Finding and Keeping a Job (Employment Assistance) category, we’ll prepare an individualised quote for your Transition to Work program.
Travel and transport costs depend on distance, vehicle type, and whether the trip includes staff or non-staff costs, and we’ll explain these clearly before services begin.
