Our Parent Education and Skills Workshops offer practical, evidence-backed learning that supports you in your parenting journey - whatever that looks like for your family.
These workshops are part of Novita’s COPE Program and take place at at various locations around Adelaide.
Each workshop is designed around what parents in the community tell us they want and need. This means every session is relevant, relatable and built with families in mind. Plus each workshop is free to attend!
Our workshops are small, supportive group sessions where parents and carers can learn about topics that matter most to them. Sessions are relaxed, interactive and led by experienced industry professionals who specialise in child development, family wellbeing and practical life skills.
Topics change throughout the year based on community feedback, but often include:
We also run workshops that build everyday life skills, supporting parents to feel more confident not just in their parenting, but in their day-to-day lives.
Alongside parenting programs, we offer hands-on workshops designed to build independence and confidence in real-life situations.
Each workshop is created in response to real community needs — and if parents tell us there’s a topic they’d love to learn more about, we work to make it happen.
Our workshop calendar is constantly evolving. We listen to community feedback and design sessions based on what families want to learn. That means every workshop is timely, meaningful and built with your goals in mind.
If there’s a topic you’d love covered, you can share your idea with our team and we’re always open to new suggestions.
Our workshops are welcoming, inclusive, and designed so every parent or carer feels comfortable. Above all, you’ll leave with strategies that feel achievable and relevant to your family.
If you’d like to take part in a free workshop or find out what’s coming up next, we’d love to hear from you.
Join a supportive learning space where you can build new skills, connect with other parents and feel confident in your role.
