Play is one of the most effective ways to help babies, toddlers and children learn.
From the moment they’re born, children are curious about the world around them. They’re watching, listening, moving and taking everything in like little sponges.
Every daily interaction is a learning experience, and every valuable learning experience involves play.
That’s where Novita’s Mobile Toy Library comes in. We bring the joy, tools, and ideas of our toy library directly to you, all at no cost!
Our mobile toy library is packed with a wide range of toys and resources designed to help kids learn through play. Every item is carefully selected to support communication, connection and confidence, making playtime a powerful tool for growth.
After each visit, you’ll get to keep the toys used in your session for 2 weeks. When it’s time for your next visit, the toys will be rotated for new ones, so the fun, and the learning, never stops!
Over time, you’ll start to see just how powerful play can be in supporting your child’s development and building meaningful family moments.
Play supports social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development, while helping to strengthen the bond between children and their parents or caregivers.

Each home visit runs for around 30 minutes, with one of Novita’s qualified and experienced family support workers there to guide the play session in a fun, interactive and engaging way.
During your first session, we’ll ask you to complete a short questionnaire to help us understand your goals, interests and needs.
This ensures every activity and resource is personalised so we can meet your individual requirements and work toward the outcomes that matter most to you and your family.
Our family support worker will spend quality one-on-one time getting to know you and your child. You'll explore creative ways to play with the toys and resources - all helping to develop communication, social, and physical skills.
